In certain cases, the Apple Bootcamp driver installer may remove the NVIDIA Windows drivers if it detects a previously installed version of NVIDIA drivers and fail to install a newer driver version. This should restore your NVIDIA graphics drivers, enabling hardware acceleration and higher screen resolutions.

And of course, you’ll need a copy of Windows 7, 8 or 8.1 to upgrade to Windows 10 at no cost, or an authentic copy of Windows 10 if you plan on performing a clean install of Window 10 on your Mac.

Boot Camp 6 also includes updated Windows 10 drivers for the built-in SD or SDXC card slot, USB 3 slots, Thunderbolt I/O, the Apple keyboards, mice and trackpads, built-in or external Apple Super Drives, as well as crucial drivers for the single USB-C port found on the new 12-inch Mac Book.

The following Mac models support 64-bit versions of Windows 10 when installed using the new Boot Camp 6 utility.

If you have a mid-2013 Mac Book Air, a late-2013 Mac Book Pro, or a late-2013 i Mac, then you should download version 5.1.5640 of the update, and owners of all other models should download version 5.1.5621.

The updates will likely need to be downloaded and installed manually, since they may not show up in Apple's Software Update service.

I also couldn't change the resolution in any games. So does anyone know if this is a problem with the driver, the fact that it's a Bootcamp Windows 10 install, or something else?
